Music education brings higher thinking and understanding to our children. It allows them to address complex patterns and appreciate beauty. As a philosophical environment, music students learn to be aware of cooperation as they learn to interact as a member of a group. They realize that no musician is independent of the whole, and yet each musician is a part of that whole, with a unique part and sound.
Having sound, well versed music educators makes a world of difference. Would you prefer your child to study only an instrument or MUSIC? My Wife Kathryn and I are trained, caring, and compassionate musicians that understand how important music can be to a young mind.
Our goal, at Family Music of Boerne, is to bring our education and experience to share with our students. The art and science and enjoyment of music is our paramount aim. We offer affordable lessons because we cater to families. As parents, we know how important it is for our children's education to include math, and English, and science . . . but also music.
A 2003 Gallup Poll ("American Attitudes Toward Music,") concludes that 78% of Americans feel learning a musical instrument helps students perform better in other subjects. Violin, Guitar, Percussion, Piano, Sax, or Flute; Family Music of Boerne will get your child started the right way.
